This calculator is suitable for a wide range of mechanical ground driven fertiliser spreaders. It can be used with trailing machines from manufacturers such as Marshall, Gason, Bredal, Agri-Spread and CGS or other similar brands that use ground drive systems.

Material density is the weight of the product per cubic metre. Different materials flow at different rates so entering the correct density ensures the calculated door opening or application rate is as accurate as possible.
Yes. As long as your spreader uses a mechanical ground drive system for the conveyor or belt, the calculator will produce valid estimates. Older machines may have wear that affects accuracy so visual checks are recommended.
