Horizontal beaters – HD

Twin 695mm dynamically balanced horizontal beaters have laser cut 10mm heat treated BORON steel flighting to improve strength and service life. Reversible hardened cutters manufactured using BORON steel are bolted and supported along the back edge, shred products giving an even and consistent feed on to the spinning discs

Large diameter spinning discs – HD

Manufactured from HARDOX, the 1.1 meter diameter spinning discs are fitted with multi-position BORON, reversable spreading blades. Blade angle is adjustable to achieve the correct spread patterns for a wide variety of materials. Spreading widths from 12 to 30 meters are possible depending on the density and nature of the product being spread

To fine tune spread patterns the angle of the blades on the disc can be adjusted through 5 positions

Adjustable drop on point

The lower section of the rear canopy is adjustable to help achieve the correct spread pattern with different products

Built in extension sides 1095mm

The large extensions are standard on 175 offering great capacity, spreader design load capacity should be checked relative to the density of the material to be carried

Full width floor slats – MK2 HD

Full width floor slats clear the entire floor area, eliminating the possibility of bridging, a problem sometimes encountered with multi chain and slat floor systems. The “socket fit” design allows for easy maintenance which can be carried out in the field, it also allows the chain to pull straight should a slat become bent

Floor chains – 20mm

Grade 80, 20mm heavy duty chains are drawn by high tensile sprockets. Sprockets are fitted to the front floor shaft as well as the driven rear shaft, ensuring perfect alignment and timing of the chains, which, in turn makes for a more reliable floor drive. Each chain has a 50 tonne breaking certificate

One piece disc drive gearbox – HBD

The heavy duty, one piece, disc drive gearbox has 54 mm diameter, heat treated output shafts. The precision machined gearbox castings ensure perfect alignment of all the drive line components

Heavy Duty T80 Drive line

The PTO drive line uses Heavy Duty T80 shafts with 1 ¾” splined connections suited for heavy, demanding materials

Floor drive gearbox RT800 HBD

The 800 series floor drive gearbox is hydraulically driven to ensure an even feed of material to the spreading mechanism at all times. With a reverse feature, any foreign object too large to pass through the beaters can be easily removed. An adjustable cross-line relief valve also delivers additional protection

Heavy duty beater drive

The horizontal beaters are driven by heavy duty Renold roller chains which incorporate solid rollers and bushes. These are chosen for their unbeatable resistance to wear, fatigue and most of all shock loading. An automatic cam driven oiler keeps the chains and sprockets lubricated

Floor chain tensioning – 175/HD

A robust, simple and reliable floor tensioning system ensures floor chain tension can be easily adjusted in order to be kept to its optimum setting. Floor chains are visible from the exterior of the machine making it easy to judge when tensioning is required. 60mm high tensile shafts are used

Floor shaft bushes

60mm floor drive shafts rotate through polyester re-inforced composite bushes that contain a solid graphite filler, chosen for their high load applications in a variety of environments they are greasable, further extending their life. Bush highlighted in red

Double acting Hydraulic guillotine slurry door

An extremely strong design and construction ensures that the door can be used as a grading device for light applications of materials as well as a device for retaining very runny products

Wide angle PTO assembly

The wide angle joint allows for turning on headlands with the PTO still engaged. It should be noted that the manufacturers recommend that you do not turn with the PTO under load

Wide angle PTO c/w Cam Clutch

The wide angle joint allows for turning on headlands with the PTO still engaged. Instead of shear bolt protection a cam clutch can be fitted to PTO

Hydraulic opening rear canopy

As an option the rear canopy can be opened hydraulically to enable the machine to make windrows for composting or for ease of maintenance. Safety props are supplied and should be used prior to carrying out maintenance

Hydraulic Border Spreading Deflector

This deflects the material down to the ground and limits the spread width on one side. This prevents material being spread through hedges, into water courses, etc

In cab electric floor speed control

The in-cab electric remote floor speed control allows the operator to make adjustments to the floor speed while on the move

Slurry door height indicator

This options allows the operator to monitor door opening positions in relation to application rates

Steel PTO guard

This option is designed to protect the PTO shaft from damage by the tractors lift arms

Air brakes

A choice of either 2 Line Air Only Brakes or Dual Supply (2 Line Air and Hydraulic) Brakes

For heavy, dense materials a larger 1000 series gearbox with a 70mm high tensile shaft can be added in lieu of 800 series. For 150HD/175HD HBD, 180/230 TVA and 180 HBD only

HMW Plastic Floor

HMW plastic floor virtually eliminates the possibility of products sticking to the floor of the spreader. It can also improve the flow of products with high friction values. The material is extremely durable and is in addition to the spreaders standard floor construction

Stone guard extension

The stone guard extension gives more protection to the tractor cab from stones being thrown forward by augers/beaters

Steel Mudguards

Made from rolled 4mm steel, these mudguards follow the tyre radius and will help keep the side of the machine clean

LED front & rear Mudguard marker lights

These bright LED marker lights are fitted to the front & rear of the mudguards and give a positive marker to the overall width of the machine

Mudguard deflectors

The deflector plates aid in keeping mudguards free of debris that is dropped whilst spreader is being loaded

Standard wheel is a 580/70 R38 HL 10 stud.

Topcon GT400 simple weigh system

The GT 400 not only displays the live weight in the machine but also allows the operator to add the total weight up by pressing the start/stop button after every load. This simple weigh unit can be fitted through the whole range of Bunning muck spreaders from the 60 to the mammoth 380HD. The system is integrated with the same 20 tonne load cells as used on the popular and proven Topcon Apollo systems

Build weigh cell ready

As an option the machine can be manufactured to take weigh cells at a future date. The dummy weigh cells can be easily removed and replaced with full weigh cells.

Overload beacon for weigh cell

Spreaders with a weigh cell system can have an overload beacon fitted. This helps operators loading the spreader know when a desired weight has been achieved to reduce chance of overloading. Beacon is magnetic and can be moved to improve visibility

Non Standard Colours

While Bunning Blue or Bunning Green are our standard colours. From a BS or RAL number we can paint your machine in almost any colour
