We’re looking for someone with a positive attitude, the ability to take initiative, work well in a team, and follow instructions. You’ll be responsible for sand blasting, assembly work, assisting with painting prep, and keeping our workshop clean and safe. The Sand Blaster / Spray Painter will work in a workshop/assembly area that can be noisy, hot and dusty. You’ll need to be comfortable standing for most of the day and able to bend, crouch, or climb.

Duties Include:
- Applying 2 PAC paint and industrial coatings to Spreader equipment as part of an assembly process
- Operating and Maintaining Sandblasting Equipment
- Mixing and preparing paint for application
- Maintain a clean and organised working area
If you have sand blasting experience, that’s great! If not, no worries – we’ll provide on-the-job training. Trade-enrolled Spray Painters who are willing to learn sand blasting are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Surface Preparation: Clean and prepare surfaces to achieve optimal paint adhesion and finish quality.
- Application of Coatings: Mix and apply paints, coatings and finishes in line with technical specifications and quality standards.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain spray painting equipment and tools.
- Quality Control: Inspect finished products and make necessary adjustments to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental standards, ensuring a safe work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as a Spray Painter in a manufacturing or similar environment.
- Strong understanding of spray painting techniques, equipment and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications is an advantage.
- A keen eye for detail with a commitment to delivering superior quality.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
