We are currently seeking multiple ‘Trades Assistants’ with the enthusiasm to create constant improvement.
Eligible applicants will be considered for ‘Immediate Start’.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work to a design standard
- Setup & maintain equipment and tools
- Keeping workspaces clean & organised
- General maintenance duties
- Assembly of Machines and Sub-Assemblies
- Assisting in Painting processes
- Cutting Steel
- Detailing Machinery
- Re-stocking of parts, components etc
- Other duties as required
What you will learn:
- Traineeship or Apprenticeship
- Cert II Engineering
- Cert III Engineering (Welding, Machining, Spray Painting etc)
- Hand and Power Tool usage
- Manufacturing / Production processes
- Hydraulics, Metal Work and Electronic Components
- Stock Control
- How to work as part of a team
- How to work autonomously
Schedule:
- 38hrs Mon – Fri
- Occasional Overtime (notice provided)
- Full-time position (Immediate Start)
Experience:
- No experience required
The successful candidate/s must have:
- Drivers & Forklift Licence (Preferred)
- Safety conscious at all times
- Reliable transport
- Strong time management
- Completes a paid trial (up to 2 weeks)
